You don't have to wait until the class to start feeling different. Here's one thing you can try the next time you feel the craving coming on.

Your First Tool β€” The 30 Second Pause

Before you eat the thing β€”
try this first.

Cravings feel urgent. Like they need to be answered right now. But here's what I've learned: the craving isn't actually about the food. It's your body trying to tell you something. And if you give it 30 seconds of attention first β€” sometimes that's all it needs.

Stop and put your hand on your chest. Just that. Don't do anything else yet.

Take three slow breaths. In through your nose. Long out through your mouth. Let your shoulders drop.

Ask yourself one question: "What am I actually feeling right now β€” underneath the craving?" Tired? Stressed? Lonely? Bored? Just notice. You don't have to fix it.

Then decide. You might still eat the thing β€” and that's okay. But now you're choosing instead of reacting. That's the whole difference.
